Hazel and her husband have traveled the world with the accommodations of the military.
Although they have seen many beautiful places, they have chosen the wonderful Black Hills
to retire. Most of their jewelry designs have been inspired by their journey, each piece being
a creation to the remembrance of the places they have visited. Weekends, with weather
permitting, are spent in search of agates, petrified wood, or jasper; forming an image of the
beautiful piece of jewelry inside every stone. Their creations have a special story to tell, and
are unique in their own way. Hazel and her husband share their lapidary and jewelry designs
with others through festivals and fine art fairs.
